Black Belt Grading 25/04/09 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
A special congratulations should go to our two new Black Belts – John Bailes and Rakesh Patel who are now 1st Dans in Taekwondo.
Further congratulations should go to Andy Hull who is now a 3rd Dan and our wonderful Mr Lam, who is now a 4th Dan.
It was a fantastic result and we’re very proud of everyone.
US Invasion & Team Strike 02/05/09 (12:30 PM - 4:30 PM)
On May 2nd we were very proud to be visited by the founders of Premier Martial Arts. American instructors Ernie Kirk and Jeff Jimmo (who designed the curriculum and whom you can see on all the DVD’s) held a special 4hour class for adults. It was a great success with participants coming from PMA schools around the country.
That day also brought a special surprise visit from Britain’s Got Talent finalist Danny Ball. Danny is one half of Team Strike who wowed the judges on the TV talent show with his awesome Xtreme Martial Arts routines. Kids and parents alike were delighted to get signed postcards and photo opportunities.
It was a fantastic day and we can’t wait to hold more events like it in the future!
September Graduation - First Junior Black Belt 26/09/09 (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
Leeds Taekwondo & Premier Martial Arts Centre was very proud to present it's first junior Black Belt at our recent Graduation.
11yr old Callum Gilbertson went through a gruelling 2 1/2 hour grading in front of a panel consisting of some of the top instructors in the UK.
He did extremely well, gaining a pass with Honours. Only 5 out of the 25 grading that day achieved Honours.
Premier Martial Arts Seminar 24/10/09 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
This event takes place on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th October, 9-6pm.
A weekend of training with 3 of the best Martial Arts Instructors you could hope to train with.
Ernie Kirk is not a only an awesome Judo and kickboxer but also the lead Self Protection instructor for the whole of Premier Martial Arts being one the the most highly qualified Krav Maga instructors in the US.
Jeff Jimmo's talents are phenomenal. He spent time in Thailand training in Thai boxing with the locals. He is a black belt in Sambo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as a US college wrestling expert. He has been hired by a number of UFC fighters to help them prepare from their fights. He is also strangley modest and keen to learn from everyone. He is one of the best MMA martial arts instructors worldwide.
Raffaello Oliveira is the latest signing in the UFC by Premier Martial Arts. Have you noticed how some of the fighters have the PMA logo on their shorts and the banners they hang in the cage? With his last win bouying him high this new talented UFC fighter will be an honour to train with.
This will be something for everyone in the PMA family. Kickboxing, Krav Maga and MMA. Do not miss this!!

Lil Dragons - Tuesday 5.30pm & Wednesday 5pm
Beginner Juniors - Wednesday 6.15pm & Thursday 6.15pm
Intermediate/Advanced Juniors - Tuesday 6.15pm & Wednesday 5.30pm
Adult PMA Beginners/Intermediate - Thursday 7.15pm
Adult PMA Advanced - Thursday 8.15pm
Adult TKD - Wednesday 7.15pm

Graduation & Adults Night Out 19/12/09 (3:00 PM)
The Graduation will be on Saturday 19th December 3-4.30pm.
During this ceremony we will be presenting all successful members from the grading with their new belts. This is guaranteed to be a very fun and exciting event and we encourage everyone to bring along your friends and family for this special occasion. We will be looking out for the “Star Performer” from each group who will be presented with a prize trophy for their awesome performances.
This is an extra-special Graduation as the end-of-year awards will also be presented.
That evening will also be the Adults Christmas Night out!! We have booked a room at OK Karaoke so get prepared to wow everyone with your fantastic singing!
