Testimonials

I’ve trained in several martial arts schools in the past and this is by far the best one, especially for kids- I know Lukas is absolutely loving it and that he would train every day if he could! So we’d just like to say thanks for making the school a fantastic friendly place to train and pls don’t stop what you’re doing guys!!!!!

" Thanks Mr Lam for an awesome weekend! Joining your PMA classes is the best thing we have done as a family. We all enjoy every class, they are so varied we never know what to expect and it keeps us on our toes. We always leave exhausted but wanting more. You are all friendly and approachable and have made my family feel very welcome. Looking forward to moving up the belts."

" As adults, having had some previous experience of various martial arts schools in the Leeds area some of which we were very dubious about for a variety of reasons i.e.; teaching standards, class sizes and costs, we were naturally very selective with regards to what we were looking in a club that would see our children aged 11yrs and 13 yrs, through to black belt. We did not want a club where belts were given out just to keep the pupils interested but one where they had to be deservedly earned and they could wear them with pride. We wanted a club which would not only teach the physical attributes of martial arts along with fitness and confidence building, but also one which devoted time to the mental attitude of the art as well as respect, honesty, kindness etc., all things which can be carried forward in everyday life. Premier Martial Arts has fulfilled all of these requirements far beyond our expectations. The standard is consistently high, the teaching by all instructors is fantastic, it is not intimidating as in some clubs, and all the instructors have a fabulous rapport with the children as well as the adults, which makes it fun to learn as well. Rewards are given not just for skills within the martial arts class but also for good behaviour and achievement outside of the club such as attained at school and other clubs, which the children maybe involved with.

All things considered this club represents extremely good value for money. The cost being exceptionally cheap for what they attain from it, we cannot praise it enough."

" Guys from joining this club in September I have excelled greatly in fitness, strength, self confidence and martial art abilities. I recommend this club to anyone who wants to learn martial arts and improve fitness whilst having a great time. This is a club where you can learn to do the jumping reverse round house kick Jean Claude Van Damme does in all his movies!"

" Ricky has attended Whitechapel Middle School on two occasions and has led 10 sessions of Karate for Concentration. The sessions were for groups of up to 30 pupils aged from 9 – 13 years of age.

The sessions were a mixture of practical activities and some thoughtful discussion about individuals setting goals for themselves selves and the skills needed to achieve them. The practical work developed the skills discussed in a fun way.

All the pupils were motivated, on task and enjoyed the experience. I invited Ricky to run the Workshops because this was a practical and enjoyable way of learning important life skills that will help pupils to cope with their school work, in national test situations and in their personal lives.

Ricky commanded respect from the pupils who responded well to his personality and were keen to carry out his instructions enthusiastically.

I would recommend Ricky Lam to any school considering providing their pupils with the opportunity to try Karate for Concentration."
